The cakes you made for the retirement party that was held at Metro were wonderful. The cake was very moist and the frosting was just right. I sampled two and they both were delicious. You did a wonderful job! The only comment I heard and I would not call it negative, was the pieces were a little big. I did not mind, but I enjoy sweets. Sweets are a down fall for me. I did not hear any other comments that you would want to change anything. Again, the cakes were delicious!

From what I have seen of Mary 's work she shows a great concern for the breadth and depth of her cake creations. I have watched her at work on site and witnessed her painstaking attention to every detail and her obvious love and pride in her craft (which by the way she has developed into an art form). She displays an innate talent for capturing the "right" feeling for each "special" day. She has a grasp of form, content, and grace in her "cake sculptures" and were I personally ever to have need of this type of service, she would be one of my first choices.

First let me say that Mary did a wonderful job and people still talk about the cake. When I talked to her about the design - I wasn't sure what I wanted, but I wanted something different than what everyone else had for their wedding cake. She came up with a design that had a large cake in the middle with a water fountain on it and the big cake was surrounded by several smaller cakes. Each cake was covered in whipped cream frosting (very light and fluffy) and was decorated in fresh fruit. Another great thing was that each cake was a different flavor so our guests just kept going back for more and more.
She worked very well with our wedding coordinator for the delivery and set up of the cake and I didn't have to worry about her at all (which you will find to be a giant plus when that day comes). Please feel free to ask me any questions but you won't be disappointed by her at all.

Thank you, thank you, thank you and thank you some more!!! The cake was perfect and everyone commented on how moist the cake was. The kids who thought they couldn't have cake because cake usually has gluten were so excited to have cake. I had a slice it was really good which is very difficult to do with gluten free stuff. So, GREAT job on that and all of it. We loved every thing you did!!! It was perfect!
We may have to replace one of your cake boards, though. The knife we used put some pretty deep gouges in one of the boards so I will pay for a new one... no worries... I hope.
